Organized by the Municipality of Norcia in collaboration with Umbriafiere SpA

Nero Norcia, in the beautiful city of Saint Benedict with its renewed facades and buildings, once again presents the traditional exhibition-market through the streets of the historic center, with around 50 stands open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. along a route of excellence dedicated to discovering the truffle, the undisputed star of the event, accompanied by local and Italian products.

Alongside the exhibition, there will be many side events and a renewed collaboration with the University of Flavours of Perugia, whose chefs will offer tastings of dishes and preparations during the event in the "In contact with excellence" space, accompanied by themed information and content.

Several moments of discussion and entertainment are scheduled at the "Village of Excellence" and the "Digipass Space". Finally, on Saturdays and Sundays, street artists and entertainment for children will alternate throughout the day. Alongside the exhibition-market: guests from the world of Rai, meetings, tastings and initiatives Among the new features is the presence of well-known figures and personalities who will take turns in the "Excellence Lounge", hosted by Rai journalist Paolo Notari, to discuss truffles, Norcia and the territory with him. Guests will include Francesco Vaia, Director General of Health Prevention at the Ministry of Health; Lieutenant Colonel Massimo Morico of the Italian Air Force, a Rai weather forecaster; sports journalist Amedeo Goria; Angelo Mellone, Rai daytime entertainment director; and Gianluca Carrabs, editor of the guide "L'Italia del tartufo". Guests will also include Matteo Grandi, journalist, writer and author for the television program X Factor.

A special edition for Nero Norcia, celebrating 60 years of love for truffles

On Friday, 23 February, at 10:30 a.m. in the Digipass area, "Nero Norcia, 60 years of celebrity" will be presented: a special magazine full of photos, interviews, reports, curiosities and culinary recipes that takes the reader into the heart of Valnerina, among history, art, culture and gastronomy.

"The Valnerina we tell in these pages," says journalist Gilberto Scalabrini, who edited the special issue, "is the Valnerina of silence and tranquility, of flavors and traditions, of excellent food and wine products and walks."
